I’m a writer and I would love to have people’s opinions on my work. Does anyone know any good blogging sites?
Twitter is not a blogging site and the only way people see your work on twitter is if they follow you. Twitter and Facebook are not answers that I am looking for. Thank you for your input.

I teach grade 3/4 and I’m looking to embed social media and tech in my program. I’m looking at some different blogging platforms such as Blogster, edublogs, posteriors, blogmeister etc. I’m also looking at some social networking platforms that I could use such as edmodo that are more closed and are more collaborative. If you use something like this in your class or have looked into this topic please share some of your ideas.

I’ve been looking for some blogging webistes to use but I can’t find one. This is my first time blogging so I’m not sure what is a good site and what is a bad one. Make your own blog that is 100% customizable and that is completely ad free using free tools. We will be using a free account from www.awardspace.com, free blogging software called WordPress, and a free FTP client called Filezilla.

I have lots of friends who do that with Blogger.
Then send out invites to whoever they want to see the website and they have to put in their e-mail address and password to be able to see the blog.

I want to be able to customize a wordpress themes to make them look a bit more origional. I know you can change the colors, etc. But i want to be able to change the size of the boxes and such. I like iblog and am looking for something similar but the free version is very limited and i cant afford to buy the full version. Does anyone know of any good free themes to install?

All themes can be modified as a rule, but you need to know html, css, some php and need to understand how wordpress works.
