Alright, so, my mom needs a job and she said that one of her options is blogging. I was wondering,
What kind of good websites are good for making money off of blogging?
How do they make the money?
About how much does it pay? (Just a guess!)

Some people with very popular blogs have ad sites that pay them per click, or have things like sales links that pay them a percentage of sales linked to the blog.
You usually have to have a major-popular blog to make any real money this way.
I also have a friend who is a professional writer who is paid to run 2 blogs for brands. Basically, some product pays her to write a blog, on their home site, about their product.
BUT there are also A LOT of people selling scam products, asking for “investment money” or whatever, preying on people who want to work from home. Tell your mom to be VERY careful. Do not spend money to get into a business. The only way to make money from blogging is for them to pay you. Anything else is probably a scam.

Usually, bloggers make money by putting advertisement banners like Google Ads on their blog site. Everytime a visitor clicks on those ads, you will get a certain amount of money… a few cents most of the time. You are not allowed to tell people to click on the ads because it’s against the policies of most online advertisement providers. You just have to hope that some of your visitors will be interested and click the ads. With that being said, you will need at least thousands and thousands of visitors to make some bucks because not everyone will click on ads. Only a small percentage will click.
The bottom line is: your blog site needs to be popular enough if you want to make enough money. Otherwise, a fast food job at McDonald’s is always a better way to make cash if the blogging idea isn’t working out. Blogging should be a side-job, not your main job unless you become successful with it. When you have accomplished that, then it can become your main source of income.
